School Violence Awareness Week - Monday, 10/17-Friday, 10/21
The purpose of School Violence Awareness Week is to give our students the opportunities:
- to reflect on how conflicts can lead to violence
- to identify strategies to prevent violence from occurring
- to learn how to resolve our conflicts peacefully
Spirit Days:
Monday, 10/17 & Tuesday, 10/18: Wear PURPLE as a symbol for peace and anti-violence
Wednesday, 10/19 & Thursday, 10/20: Wear TIE-DYE as a symbol for acceptance and inclusion
Friday, 10/21: Wear red, TG gear or You Matter Shirt
